Put your house number on the mailbox. Install a security system with cameras and sensors. Install motion-activated lights on the perimeter of your property and in your driveway. Get a dog that is trained to bark when an intruder enters the property or goes near the house, like a German Shepherd or a Rottweiler. Place locks on all windows and doors, including sliding glass doors, to prevent intruders from breaking in through them easily.
